Welcome Kwetu Yetu CBO

Kwetu Yetu CBO is a registered Community Based Organization (CBO) with the Directorate of Social Development in Malindi, Kenya. We are committed to working alongside the Kenyan government and local communities to address environmental and social challenges.

Our core activities include:

Conservation and Biodiversity: We conduct research and support initiatives that protect Kenya's rich biodiversity, ensuring a healthy and sustainable environment for future generations.

Empowering Youth and Women: We identify and support youth and women's participation in climate change solutions, fostering their leadership and agency in building a more resilient future.

Clean Energy: We promote the use of clean and renewable energy sources, reducing dependence on fossil fuels and mitigating the effects of climate change.

Capacity Building: We collaborate with local organizations, empowering them with the knowledge and skills necessary to address local challenges and achieve sustainable development. Blue Economy: We support initiatives that promote sustainable livelihoods within the blue economy, ensuring the responsible use of our marine resources.

Food Security: We facilitate the adoption of climate-smart agricultural practices, helping communities adapt to changing climatic conditions and ensure food security.

Waste Management: We initiate waste management programs that promote re-use and recycling, reducing environmental pollution and promoting a cleaner and healthier environment.

Public Health: We integrate public health considerations into all our activities, aiming to improve living conditions and well-being for all community members.
